Continental Croatia

The exquisiteness of the real Continental Croatia doesn’t come alive with the olive trees, it surpasses in beauty when the green fields turn into meadows and orchards, lined with ruby red roofs, and pristine white houses. The forests of the Cypress turn into the tall pine trees of the Gorski Kotar, and the fruit laden vineyards become the grazing ground of the cattle. One has to climb over the Velebit and then descend from Lika and Banovina to reach the plains of Slavonija and Posavina.
