Korcula Island is located in the Adriatic Sea. Known for being the birthplace of the distinguished writer and veteran traveler Marco Polo, the Island of Korcula boasts its greenery, dense wood, fantastic beaches and the production of exquisite wine from its numerous well-kept vineyards.

- Bishop Palace - renaissance palace in town of Korcula.
- Korcula old town - fortified by stone walls and 12 towers built in 14th century.
- The Cathedral Sveti Marko - probably most important building in the Korcula Old Town, built in 15th century, dominating the Old town. Cathedral is built in classic gothic-renaissance architectural style.
- Marco Polo's house - one of the highlights of the Korcula island is the house were Marco Polo seems to have lived.
- monastery and church of St. Nikola
- Moreska - famous knight game preserved only in Korcula. During history, Moreška was performed in numerous cities on the Mediterranean.
The Island of Korcula features centuries-old architecture, such as the Town Museum in Gabrielis Palace, Large Governors Tower and Small Governors Tower, St. Marcos Cathedral and several palaces, including the Ismaelis Palace, Arneri Palace and Bishops Palace. A popular festival in Korcura Island is the three-month-long festival season of Moreska. During the festival, which starts in June at the Old Town, locals celebrate their wine with song and dance.

Korcula Island has some of the best beaches in Croatia, which is the reason why hundreds of visitors flock to the island. Popular water activities include diving, kayaking, windsurfing and fishing. With pine, olive and fig trees surrounding the beaches, walking and hiking can also be a relaxing experience. For a fun night out and local cuisine, the villages and towns of Cara, Blato, Zrnovo, Lumbarda and Vela Luka are just a walk away.
The island of Korcula is just a quick ferry or bus ride from its neighbors Dubrovnik, Hvar and Mljet Split.

- Beach Banje - an old Korcula Town close to Hotel Park. This is very popular pebble beach crowded with tourists from town and nearby hotels as well as locals
- Zakrjan - located in on the eastern edge of the Korcula town. Beach is sunny from dawn until the early afternoon.
- Bilin Zal - small, sandy beach on the eastern shores of Lumbarda. Very popular beach in the summer time.
- Tatinja - sandy beach ideal for small children, situated only few minutes from Lumbarda center.
- Beach on Stupe Island - very popular nudist beach
- Pupnatska Luka - attractive pebble beach with clear water, some 15 km away from town of Korcula.
- Vela Przina - attractive sandy beach, very popular in the summer time. Located on the southern side of the Korcula island.
