Ist sziget

Ist Island is one of the smallest (9.65 sq km) and the least populated islands (with only 250 inhabitants) in the Zadar archipelago. Ist island is situated on two hills, which are separated by a narrow valley. Ist island consists mainly of limestone and dolomite along the coast. Vineyards and olive groves surrounding hills this impressive island. Nautical mooring is available in the main bay wide, as well as in the bay Kosirača on the other side of the island.

Located north of Molat and west of the island Škarda, Ist island is a paradise for travelers who are looking for an intact piece of nature and an abundance of sunshine. On the south bank of the same bay wide, gje the place Ist. Homemade wine, homemade cheese, fresh fish you can always find at the locals. Apart from a few small coves and cliffs, the island has a sandy beach with clear sea, which is the main reason why divers and fishermen can not separate from this island. Other activities include kayaking, beach volleyball, mountain biking, boating and fishing. Local restaurants are available for the most part the year, a car is not allowed to drive on the island.
