One of the most beautiful villages on the Adriatic coast is Selce - a seaside resort with more than 100-year-old tourism tradition. The first bathing spot was opened back in 1894, so that year is considered the beginning of tourism. Selce, Croatia is a little town with a well preserved Mediterranean coastal atmosphere, and a diverse offerings for tourists: accommodations (Selce apartments, villas) and nice, mostly pebble beaches, which have been given the European Blue Flag several years ago.
