Lun is a small fishing village (the smallest of the island) that is located only 18 km from Novalja and 4 nautical miles from Rab Island. This town is well famous for their production of olives and also olive oil. The oldest part of the village is situated on a plateau, very close to the Tovarnele Harbour. In summertime, most of the residents here engage in tourism and offer bed & breakfast services to the many tourists that come here. Other people work in fishing, sheep farming or growing olives and grapes. Between the rocks of cape Luna, there is a treasure hidden – it is a place where you can see wild olive trees growing, which is something that can only be seen in just a few spots on the planet.
