Camping is situated on beautiful coast in middle Dalmatia, within administrative borders of the east part of city of Split, in city district Stobreč. Camp is 6 km away from Diocletian's palace and the same distance is to ancient remains of Salona. It is situated within beautiful green forest, sorrounded on two sides by sea and on the third by river mouth of Žrnovnica. Even on the hottest day there is a mild and refreshing breeze in the camp because of the camp's position on the penninsula and vicinity of the river with dense vegetation that creates rich shades.
Camping just outside Split! People of Split have a simple and convincing argument when they praise beauty of their home town and its sorrounding: powerful emperor Diocletian could have built his magnificent residential palace anywhere in the vast Roman empire. Place he chose is today the biggest town in Dalmatia, center of which is still Diocletian's palace.
